Terence Crawford Defeats Israil Madrimov To Win WBA Super Welterweight Title

Last night, Terence “Bud” Crawford faced Israil Madrimov in a 12-round fight for the WBA Super Welterweight Championship at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Crawford won the title by defeating Madrimov via unanimous decision (116-112, 115-113 & 115-113).

Crawford now improved his undefeated record in professional boxing to 41-0, while he handed Madrimov (10-1-1Draw) the first loss in his career.

With that victory, Terence Crawford became a four-division world champion. After winning the WBO and The Ring Lightweight Championships in 2014, Crawford clinched back-to-back Undisputed Titles at Super Lightweight and Welterweight. He is the current WBA (Super), WBO, and The Ring Welterweight & WBA Super Welterweight Champion.
