Update On Former WWE Writer's Lawsuit Against WWE Over Racial Discrimination

Last April, former WWE writer Britney Abrahams filed a lawsuit against WWE and several employees over racial discrimination before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Abrahams joined WWE in 2020 as a writer for RAW and SmackDown. However, she was fired from the company last year after taking home a WrestleMania 38 branded chair. You can read more details by clicking here.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that Britney Abrahams voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit against Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Christine Lubrana, Jeniffer Pepperman, Chris Dunn, Ryan Callahan, and Mike Heller.

“Britney Abrahams voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit without prejudice against the named defendants.

WWE itself isn't part of the voluntary dismissal.

Abrahams is a former WWE writer who filed a lawsuit in April, alleging racial discrimination and wrongful termination.”

However, the lawsuit against WWE hasn't dropped yet.
