McIntyre went for a Claymore Kick, but Gunther was avoided. McIntyre hit a Future Shock DDT but Gunther kicked out at two. The Ring General delivered a Powerbomb and Splash on McIntyre. Both men hit chops to each other. McIntyre hit a Claymore kick but Gunther kicked out. The Ring General hit a Splash and Clothseline on McIntyre and followed up with Powerbomb to retain the Intercontinental Title.
