Jade Cargill Teases Stepping Away From Pro Wrestling, Says AEW Didn't Make Her Famous

Jade Cargill made her AEW debut on the November 11th, 2020 episode of Dynamite. In that show, Cargill interrupted Cody Rhodes to tease the arrival of Shaquille O'Neal. Cargill made her in-ring debut on the March 3rd, 2021 edition of Dynamite, where she teamed up with O’Neal to defeat Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet.

Last year, Jade Cargill became the inaugural TBS Champion by defeating Ruby Soho in the TBS Title tournament finals. Cargill defeated Taya Valkyrie to retain the title at Double or Nothing. After the match, she put her title on the line against returning Kris Statlander on the same night. Statlander ended Cargill’s 508 days title reign.

The 31-year-old star disappeared from AEW television after the title loss at Double or Nothing. On Saturday, a fan asked Jade Cargill about will she return to the squared circle soon. Cargill simply stated, “No.”

Yesterday, Jade Cargill posted a few photos on Twitter and stated that she maybe stay in Hollywood.

“Outside of the wrestling bubble is nice. I might stay.”

A fan reminded Jade Cargill that All Elite Wrestling made her famous. The former TBS Champion denied that and stated the following.

“No they did not. YOU know me because of AEW. A lot of my fans knew me prior. But go on. Thus the reason I stuck with my name rather than a stage name.”
