Last year, Baron Corbin became JBL’s protégé. The WWE Hall of Famer introduced Corbin as the modern-day wrestling god. However, Corbin lose matches since last November. Therefore, JBL ended his partnership with Baron Corbin on the February 6th episode of Monday Night RAW.
Baron Corbin competed in numerous WWE live events but was unable to pick up any victory until last night. Corbin competed at Saturday Night's Main Event in Paris, France, where he faced Rick Boogs in a singles match.
From the start of the match, Corbin received a huge chorus of cheers. He defeated Boogs by roll-up pin, ending his five months losing streak. Following the match, Corbin broke his character and thanked the fans.
