Last month, Ronda Rousey retained the SmackDown Women’s championship by defeating Shotzi at Survivor Series. Rousey is now aligned with her long-time friend Shayna Baszler on SmackDown. The duo attacks everyone who stands against them on the blue brand.
A few weeks ago, Rousey and Baszler attacked Raquel Rodriguez. This past Friday on SmackDown, they also did the same thing to Shotzi in a parking lot. Their dominant behavior indicates that they can dethrone Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai and win the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
During “The Baddest Stream On The Planet”, a fan asked Rousey if teaming with Baszler and winning the Tag Team Titles were on her bucket list.
“Yes, I’m happy just to have a tag title. I don’t need a singles title. A tag run would be fun. I mean, both are cool. I’ve been doing singles for so long, I’m ready to change it up. That’s another thing, too, people forget I only have a year and a half of in-ring experience.”
