Seth Rollins Breaks Character After SummerSlam Match Postponed

Riddle was scheduled to face Seth Rollins on this Saturday’s SummerSlam. However, the bout has been postponed due Riddle suffered an injury on Monday Night RAW.

WWE announced the following statement regarding Riddle’s injury.

Riddle has suffered a brachial plexus injury (a stinger) with significant weakness following an attack by Seth “Freakin” Rollins on RAW. As a result, he has been medically disqualified until full strength returns, and his SummerSlam match against The Visionary has been postponed.

Seth Rollins commented after his match was pulled from SummerSlam. Rollins apologized to the fans who bought tickets to see him competing at the biggest party of the summer.

For anyone who purchased a ticket to SummerSlam hoping to see me in action, I apologize. I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control. Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday.

Seth Rollins is a top superstar on the main roster and WWE has not made any statement regarding whether Rollins competes at SummerSlam.
